Is it odd that the official redesign ended up being a lot like this?

Very cool redesign, a unique (present day) look to a classic hero.

I've had this one in my collection for some time, and it's still my favourite GA redesign.
Just out of curiosity, does the guard on his left forearm serve an actual purpose? I can imagine it being beneficial to archers, as they constantly draw arrow along their arms.

Aw, thx!

Yeah, that arm guard helps protect the forearm from the string slapping your arm.
Doesn't happen a lot, but when you shoot a TON of arrows, you start getting occasional welts.

Now, I'd imagine GA would be a fairly steady shot, but I added it for fun, thinking that you might not get that many clean shots running and flipping around WHILE shooting arrows.

You're welcome.

Right, that makes sense. Thanks for the info. ;)

Personally, I think when they killed the Green Arrow costume this last season of Smallville they should have used this. Its beautiful and a lot closer to the source.

You did a great job, man!
